Acceptance of these terms

By using the GotchaPest website, placing an order, or submitting a Pest Tracker report, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or our services.

Using our website

• Use the site lawfully and don't disrupt it or other users
• Don't attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data
• Don't copy, scrape, or misuse content beyond personal, non-commercial use
• We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time

Accounts

When you create an account you agree to provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and take responsibility for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if your account is compromised.

Orders & pricing

• All orders are subject to availability and confirmation
• Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable
• We reserve the right to correct errors in pricing or product information and to refuse or cancel an order before dispatch
• If an order is cancelled because of an error, you'll receive a full refund

Payment & shipping

Payment is taken at checkout via our secure payment provider. Dispatch and delivery timeframes are provided on product pages and in your order confirmation; see our Shipping page for detail. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Product information

We aim to show products accurately. Colours and dimensions may vary slightly. Pest control outcomes depend on placement, bait and conditions, so results aren't guaranteed. Always follow the instructions included with your product.

Pest Tracker & user content

• You're responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of anything you submit
• You grant GotchaPest a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and adapt your reports and photos for the community map and pest-intelligence features
• Don't submit content that's unlawful, offensive, infringes others' rights, or contains private information about third parties without consent
• We may remove, edit, or decline to publish any report at our discretion
• Approximate locations only are published; precise coordinates are never shown publicly

Returns & refunds

Our returns policy and your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply to all purchases. See our Returns & Refunds page for details.

Intellectual property

All site content — product designs, images, text, branding and the GotchaPest name — is owned by or licensed to GotchaPest and protected by New Zealand and international law. You may not reproduce it without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GotchaPest is not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, or for loss of profit or data, arising from your use of the site or products. Our liability for a product is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under New Zealand law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always appears on this page with an updated date above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
